The second day of Camp began with iCare morning assembly, where Miss Sid introduced us to the days topic which was the "3 S's of money". This was followed by a great morning skit by Team 360.
Once the opening ceremonies concluded, the campers went to Team Time and began discussions about money. Campers learned what the 3 S's of money are; Spend, Save, and Share. They learned about how to spend their money wisely, and how they can share it effectively. They also learned about needs vs. wants during this time.
The campers continued working on their donor boards and their "Genius Zone" eBoards.
We rounded out the day with two fantastic guest speakers, Mr. Eddie Smith, Vice President of Auburn Bank and Mrs. Oline Price, Lee County Revenue Commissioner. They gave the campers a great insight on how to become money smart.
